FINAL NOTES & TIPS
If you have looked at my portfolio, it’s pretty clear that I love color! I made this style guide to assist you with coordinating your outfits. Coordinating is in, and matching is out.
Moms outfit is the most important. Mom, pick out your outfit first, and then coordinate everyone else to you. Long dresses are best, and the way to make this easiest is to have someone wear a pattern, another wear a texture…. and then solids for everyone else. I can style your entire session if you need help. I want you to look your best, so please ask for help!
A couple things to avoid:
- Wearing all white (it doesn’t photograph well and white doesn’t reflect my work the best). If you want your images to look the best, remove the whites and choose beiges, cream, or tan colors instead.
- Small patterns
- Stripes
- Baseball hats
- Shiny fabric
- Tees with logos
- Cargo shorts with large pockets

Amazon is truly the best for dresses. They offer many styles, plenty of colors, and they are reasonably priced!
