SUNRISE ADVENTURE LOCATIONS 01

I gathered these locations together because they are pretty close to each other. These locations are located on the Windward (East) side of Oahu. Each location is beautiful, but different, which gives you a lot of unique aesthetics in your photos. We can head to a beach, then to lava tubes, or climb down into a cove.  We can hit up just 2 or 3 of these locations, or try to get to all of them! At the moment, I currently have 04 locations chosen below for your adventure….. Check them out!!

Makaapuu

Makaapuu is known for its unique lava rocks, tide pools, and a large mountain in the backdrop. This beach is not great for swimming and the water is typically rough, but the tide pools you can easily go swimming in. There is ample parking, and the sand is about a 5 minute walk from the parking lot.

HALONA

Halona is know for its beautiful lava rock formations, and a really small cove at the bottom of the roadway. There is plenty of parking, and in my opinion it’s the best place on Island for the sunrise. We have to walk down a lava rock, path that is steep in some locations to get down there. It’s not made for everyone, but it is worth it.

SANDYS

Sandy’s Beach is so beautiful. It has a wide open sandy beach, with waves pounding on the reef and lava rocks. I can put you up on the lava rocks, or seat you in tide pools. There is plenty of parking at this location, and there are restrooms and fresh water showers too.

LANAI LOOKOUT

Lanai Lookout is so unique to this Island there is nothing else like it. It’s dangerous, and hard to get down into as the rocks could be slippery, but the views are amazing and beautiful. It’s not for everyone, but it’s worth it. There is plenty of parking at this location, but there are no bathrooms or facilities here.
